Meet the KKR team

Henry McVey

Henry McVey is the Head of the Global Macro, Balance Sheet, and Risk team at KKR. As part of this role, he also serves as the Chief Investment Officer of the KKR Balance Sheet and oversees Firmwide Market Risk and Derivatives & Liability management.

Since joining KKR in 2011, McVey has established himself as a trusted thought leader in the financial services industry. His highly sought after insights and analysis have helped influence the way many macro investors and allocators of capital approach asset allocation and portfolio construction, especially during periods of increased volatility. He is also a valued resource for decision makers globally in understanding market trends and dynamics. McVey is a member of the KKR management committee and partners with the investing teams at KKR to create better outcomes for the firm and our clients.

Earlier in his career, McVey was a managing director, lead portfolio manager, and head of global macro and asset allocation at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Previously, he was a portfolio manager at Fortress Investment Group and chief U.S. investment strategist for Morgan Stanley.

In addition to his role at KKR, he serves on the board of trustees for the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C., as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and as a member of the UVIMCO and Pritzker Foundation Investment Committees. He is also a member of the Dallas Fed advisory committee.

Paula Campbell Roberts

Paula Campbell Roberts is the Chief Investment Strategist for KKR’s Global Wealth business and a Managing Director on the Global Macro, Balance Sheet, and Risk team. In this role, she serves as an advisor to the firm's wealth management partners on macroeconomics and asset allocation, with a specific focus on how private assets such as private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and credit can factor into individual investors’ portfolios.

Since joining KKR in 2017, Roberts has solidified her place as a trusted source of insights on wealth, the global macro landscape, and thematic investing. Roberts is one of 15 members of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Economic Advisory Panel and a member of the Economic Club of New York. Prior to KKR, Roberts was an economist with Morgan Stanley, advising asset management clients and Fortune 500 CEOs. Before Morgan Stanley, she spent time at Bain & Co as a management consultant.

In addition to her role at KKR, Roberts is currently a Lincoln Center Leadership Fellow and serves on the boards of the New York City Ballet and the American Friends of Jamaica.
